Parish organizations under the Education/Faith Formation Board:

Adult Faith Formation committee meets once a month to plan events, programs and activities intended for the spiritual enrichment and ongoing faith development of our parishioners. The committee’s efforts are focused on the implementation of the priorities set forth in the U.S. Bishop’s pastoral plan, “Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us,” and the recommendations of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Athletic Boosters provide athletic opportunity for all the children of the parish through a variety of programs. A board directs and coordinates these activities as well as the fund raising.

Baptismal Preparation Team helps present a monthly program for parents seeking the sacrament for their infant children. The sessions are held on the last Tuesday of each month.

Marriage Preparation Team members are married couples who help engaged individuals prepare for marriage. Working with the priest who will celebrate the wedding, they help the couple assess their readiness for the sacrament.

CCD catechists are involved in the parish’s extensive religious education program for children attending public school. Adults serve as teachers and volunteers in the Wednesday evening parish school of religion program for grades K through 8, September to May.

Family Catechesis Program offers a way to grow and learn the faith together as a family.  This program uses questions, pictures, and short video clips of Cardinal Arinze to teach core teachings of our Catholic faith.  This is done interactively in a fun and laid back atmosphere.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) enlists the support of parents and teachers for programs and fund-raising activities promoting the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational and social welfare of the children attending Guardian Angels School.

School Council is a group of elected parishioners who act as the consultative body to the school principal and the director of religious education. Nominations are held in early spring.

School Music Boosters are organized to support the music program in the school. This group supplies financial assistance to the program and to individual students who would not participate without this help. They also provide volunteer help for concerts.

Scouts
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts foster values and principals for the young men of the parish. They hold weekly meetings.Girl Scouts are not allowed to affiliate with a church; troops are available to parishioners, but they are not sponsored by the parish.
